​Associates of Legal Alliance Company participated in the criminal law conference

On November 8^th-9^th, 2018 the V-th All-Ukrainian Conference on Criminal Law and Process was held. It was attended by more than 145 participants and became an effective platform for advocates, judges and lawyers for discussion of current issues of the industry which arise during protection and representation of clients. The conference was attended by associates of criminal law practice of Legal Alliance Company advocate Taras Bezpaly and assistant advocate Maryna Mkrtycheva.

During the sessions such topical subjects as invalidation of a contract as a way of criminal prosecution of a legal entity, methods of pressure on defence in high-profile cases and ways of contradiction, abuse with qualification, “digital proofs”, examination of document age, false declaration and unlawful enrichment, special pre-trial investigation: practical nuances, peculiarities of advocate’s work with state secret, as well as world trends in development of legal entities and advocate activities (compliance, anticorruption measures, ethics) were highlighted. A workshop on psychological rehabilitation of an advocate from professional burnout was held within the event framework.
