On November 19, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine published the Draft Order «On Amendments Introduction into the Rules of Procedure for the State Register of Medicinal Products of Ukraine» (hereinafter – Draft Order). This Draft Order has been developed with a view of implementation into the State Register of Medicinal Products of Ukraine (hereinafter - Register) of the identification of medicinal products procured by the specialized organizations under the international procurement agreements concluded by the Ministry of Health.
Therefore, the Draft Order proposes to include the new provision into the List of Medicinal Products Data, which is submitted for the Register. This provision shall specify which products belong to the medicinal products procured by the specialized organizations under the procurement agreements.
The same information should be indicated in the Extract form the Register according to the Annex 2 of the Rules of Procedure of the Register. Consequently, this information shall be included into the Extract form the Register, which is provided upon legal and physical entities request.
It is worth to mention that these regulatory amendments are developed in a view of implementation of medicinal products procurement procedures with the use of budget funds through international specialized organizations, which provide the corresponding services to the states and other entities. In particular, there are currently concluded international agreements with UNDP, UNICEF and Crown Agents.
