On December 7th, 2017 Kyiv hosted the Pharmacy Summit organized by the Ukrainian Pharmaceutical Professional Association in honor of its tenth anniversary. The event was attended by more than 160 pharmacy chain managers, leading representatives of the pharmaceutical business and regulatory bodies, as well as experts in the field of marketing and law.
Legal Alliance was represented by Dmytro Aleshko, partner, who spoke in the panel "Medical Reform and New State Programs" with the report "Public Procurement. Prospects for Pharmacies" dedicated to the new state programs in the field of health. Mr. Aleshko spoke about reimbursing the cost of medicines under the program "Available Medications" and the role of pharmacies in providing the population with drugs.
"The experience of 2017 showed that the pharmacy is becoming an important link in providing patients with drugs under the" Available Medications "program. With the expansion of the program, this role of pharmacies will only increase," stressed Dmytro Aleshko.
The event focused on the transformation of Ukraine's intellectual property sector on its path toward European integration.
