Experience of new procedural laws from Legal Alliance Company

On September 11th Legal Alliance Company held a webinar “Experience of New Procedural Laws”. Heads of law departments and lawyers of Ukrainian and international companies participated in the webinar.

Associated partner Nataliia Lavrenova acted as an expert. Ms Lavrenova talked on practical aspects of access to legislation system, namely issues of appealing court decisions, jurisdiction and court dispute in some categories of cases.

At the webinar such issues as legal and illegal use of somebody else’s money, period of interest accrual on the loan and beginning of sanction imposition, invalidation of a deal carried by an executive body of a legal entity ultra vires, employee’s will as a condition for labor agreement termination, peculiarities of satisfaction of creditor’s claims, security with collateral as well as choice of judicial remedy for intellectual property rights to a medicine were considered.

Nataliia Lavrenova, associated partner at Legal Alliance Company and webinar moderator, stressed, “Among numerous novelties of the judicial reform, an important place have been given to the issue of securing unity of judicial practice, namely consideration of cases by a chamber, united chamber of cassation court or the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court. We have devoted today’s meeting to court practice in some categories of cases and we plan to continue such meetings”.
