On 07.05.2014 in the premises of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine following the initiative of the Commission for Reforming the Healthcare System of the Public Council by MoH of Ukraine there was a round-table meeting ‘Implementation of New System of Healthcare Financing’. The insurance companies, NGOs, experts were invited to participate in the round-table meeting.
The representatives of the event agreed that implementation of mandatory state social medical insurance stimulates development of healthcare and discussed the necessity to create the corresponding basis, mechanisms for implementation of the law and insurance procedures.
Within the framework of medical insurance the participants of round-table focused on the necessity to define the scope of guaranteed level of medical aid, approval of protocols and medical treatment standards, methodology for determination of fees for medical services.
In the course of the talks the experience of implementing medical insurance in the Russian Federation, Slovakia and Moldova were scrutinized.
The event focused on the transformation of Ukraine's intellectual property sector on its path toward European integration.
