On September 17th, 2018 lawyers of Legal Alliance Company together with Tetiana Kolesnyk, advisor on public procurement issues, held a corporate seminar for employees of an international specialized pharmaceutical corporation on procurement of medicines for budget funds, reimbursement and introduction of the updated National List of Essential Medicines.
During the event speakers, senior associates Nataliia Spivak and Alexander Bondar, shared practical knowledge and advice on procurement of medicines and medical devices and information on influence of the national List on the system of provision of patients with medicines. The lawyers discussed with the seminar participants status of the reform of procurement of medicines and medical devices, establishment of a centralized procurement organization, challenges of procurement for budget funds of medicines produced in pharmacies, approaches to determination of the procurement subject and appealing procurement procedures, etc. Nataliia Spivak also informed the participants of price regulation of medicines procured and reimbursed for budget funds.
