The social project "VOЇNY", initiated by Legal Alliance together with Republic Agency and the Dignity Revolutionary Corps, was launched in August.
The goal of the project is to provide a worthy burial of the Ukrainian soldiers who perished in the war with Russia in the east of Ukraine, as well as to encourage Ukrainian society to honour the memory of the deceased heroes.
"The project is important, above all, since that work on the burial of our perished soldiers is not well-organized, and the heroes are not always properly respected. This question is extremely sensitive. Implementation of the project will have a positive effect on the consolidation of Ukrainian society and will help the nation survive", said Oleksii Bezhevets, a partner at Legal Alliance Company.
The project is aimed at settling the issues of military burials, introducing standardized procedures for official ceremonies, burial of killed soldiers, elaboration of the concept of measures for glorification and honouring memory of the heroes.
On the eve of the Day of Defender of Ukraine, the project participants created a frame "Warriors Live in Hearts" for the avatars on Facebook. Anyone who wishes to honour the memory of the defenders who gave their most valuable for our peaceful life can thus find it on the project web-page.
The event focused on the transformation of Ukraine's intellectual property sector on its path toward European integration.
