On March 24, 2015 new members of the Public Counsel of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine were elected by Constitutive meeting. During the meeting the follow information was discussed: information from initiative group on preparing for the Constitutive meeting; the report on the activity of the Public Counsel of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine on the period from October 2013 to December 2014; in addition the Rules of the Constitutive Meeting was adopted and new members were elected.
It should be remind, that with the purpose of carrying out of theRegulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On amendments tothe Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 03.11.2010 N 996” dated 26.11.2014 N 688 and effective realization of provisions of the Law of Ukraine “On clearance of government”, renewal of the Public Counsel of the Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine, on December 22, 2014 the powers of effective Counsel on that day was ceased.
225 applications from differently directedcivil society institutes were filed for participation in the meeting. Participants of the Constitutive meeting by open vote decided not to restrict the quantity of members of the Public Counsel. Thus, the new Public Counsel consists of 184 persons – representatives of public society institutions.
According to the decision of the constitutional meeting of NGO “Ukrainian Bar Association”, Partner of Legal Alliance Company Illia Kostin will be representative of this NGO.
