Legal Alliance Company has successfully defended the interests of a major European manufacturer of medical products in relation to an unlawful decision of a conformity assessment body. Due to the professional work of the legal company´s specialists in cooperation with “The Association of Medical Operators for Medical Devices” (AMOMD), it was able to restore the violated rights of the manufacturer of medical products in the shortest possible time.
Work on protecting interests was carried out under the guidance of a partner and an attorney-at-law at Legal Alliance Company Dmytro Aleshko, who summarized the case as follows:
“The European system for assessing the conformity of medical products was implemented in Ukraine several years ago. But more important is that, in addition to adopting the laws necessary for the market, they are also enforced. Today, unfortunately, not all conformity assessment bodies are ready to work according to European rules. In such cases, legal experts have to get involved in the situation. That case was complicated, but interesting.”
