Legal Alliance Company Joined the Council on Reforms in the Sphere of Intellectual Property

Legal Alliance Company as a delegate of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AIPM Ukraine) joined the working group for drafting the National Strategy on development of intellectual property for the period until 2020.

Let us recall, that in November, 2014 the Committee on intellectual property and advertising law of the Ukrainian Bar Association prepared the Resolution on the results of the round table "Management and development strategy of intellectual property," which noted that there are some substantial problems in the draft of Strategy, which generate necessity of drafting of quality and conceptually new document taking into account the provisions of the "Reform Strategy 2020" and the coalition agreement, because these documents define the main directions of reforms in Ukraine for the future.

Also, the resolution contained initiative to establish a working group to prepare a draft of National Strategy for development of intellectual property for the period until 2020. To achieve this purpose, the members of the Committee have drafted the Charter of the Council on reforms in the sphere of intellectual property.

The Council on reforms in the sphere of intellectual property is a temporary body established by professional NGOs.

Currently, Legal Alliance Company and AIPM Ukraine in the working group are represented by Natalia Lavrenova, Counsel and the lead specialist in intellectual property practice.
