On March 14-15, 2015 in Kyiv at National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy the Spring Media Law School was organized by the local department of Students’ League of Ukrainian Bar Association.
The School consisted of the set of workshops on issues of legal regulation of television, Internet, press, advertising activity from lawyers, highly-qualified specialists in the sphere of media law, representatives of famous Ukrainian companies and organizations.
The purpose of the event was to familiarize the participants with the term "media law" and regulatory framework in this sphere, the main forms of media and some aspects of its work in the context of Ukrainian legislation, the analysis of situations arising during the judicial protection of violated rights related to TV, print media, Internet etc. Students received the opportunity to research the main aspects of the legal regulation of advertising activity in Ukraine.
Senior Associate of Legal Alliance Company Lidiya Sangarovskaya-Gurlach was the speaker for the students with workshop "Peculiarities of legal regulation of advertising of medicinal products on television." Her impressions from the event, Ms. Lydia expressed thus: "I’m grateful to management of department of Students’ League of UBA for organization of timely, interesting and useful event for raising awareness of students, firstly, on the practical aspects of the application of media law in Ukraine, and directly to students for active participation and desire to acquire new special knowledge. As the event demonstrated, students of NaUKMA have not only great interest to study the regulation of advertising, including medicinal product on television, but already today have extremely deep knowledge in the sphere of advertising and promotion of medicinal products and pharmaceutical regulatory ".

The event focused on the transformation of Ukraine's intellectual property sector on its path toward European integration.
