The Cabinet of Ministers Resolution № 940 as of 28.10.2015 came into effect on 19.11.2015. The Resolution introduced changes into the List of Medicinal Products and Medical Devices being procured on the basis of acquisition agreements concluded with the specialized organizations.
Henceforth, the list of medicinal products, which was approved by the CMU Resolution № 787 as of 8.10.2015, shall be titled – the List of Medicinal Products and Medical Devices being procured on the basis of acquisition agreements concluded with the specialized procurement organizations (hereinafter – “List”).
Therefore, the updated List provides the new version of the paragraphs, which contained the list of medicinal products and medical devices for children with oncology and oncohematology diseases available for centralized procurements in 2015. Moreover, changes were introduced into the list of products procured in the category «Centralized Procurements of Chemotherapeutic Products, Radiopharmaceuticals and Supply Products for Oncologic Patients».
It is worth to mention that since 07.05.2015 the amendments have been introduced into the Tax Code of Ukraine. In accordance with the Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine regarding the exemption of some medicinal products and medical devices from taxation» from value added tax shall be exempt those medicinal products and medical devices, which are procured in accordance with the agreements concluded with specialized procurement organizations from the list approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
Therefore, currently we have an updated List of Medicinal Products and Medical Devices procured by specialized organizations and temporarily exempted from VAT.
