List of Medicines Procured for Budget Funds by Specialized Organizations Expanded

Changes have been made to nomenclature of medicines and medical product procured for budget funds in 2018.

In particular, Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 366 as of May 16^th, 2018 supplements the List of Medicines and Medical Products Procured Under Procurement Agreements with Specialized Organizations which Carry Procurement in Areas of Budget Funds Use in 2018 Under the Program “Provision of Medical Measures in Some State Programs and Comprehensive Measures of Program Nature”. This list was approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 278 as of March 28^th, 2018.

The following categories of drugs were added:

• Medicines for patients who suffer from orphan metabolic diseases;
• Medicines and medical products for patients in pre- and postsurgery transplantation period;
• Medicines for children suffering from cerebral palsy;
• Medicines for patients suffering from multiple sclerosis;
• Medical products for patients suffering from bullous epidermolysis;
• Medicines for children suffering from cystic fibrosis;
• reagents for mass screening of new-borns for phenylketonuria, congenital hypothyroidism, cystic fibrosis and adrenogenital syndrome;
• chemotherapeutic drugs, radiopharmaceuticals and supportive products for the treatment of cancer patients.

Resolution No. 366 as of May 16^th, 2018 is aimed at ensuring patient access to necessary medicines and will become effective on the day of its publication.
