On August 25, 2015 a Draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments Introduction to the Article 15 of the Law of Ukraine “On Medical Products” has been carried out for public hearing. This Draft Law suggests suspending the manufacturing and realization of medical products only through the courts’ decision.
The abovementioned Draft Law was developed in view of brining the Law of Ukraine “On Medical Products” into compliance with the Law of Ukraine “On Main Principals of Public Control over Business Operations” which determines that manufacturing or realization of products, execution of work, economic agents services may be suspended exclusively by court decisions.
It will be appropriate to remind that currently State Administration of Ukraine on Medical Products in accordance to the law is entitled to make decisions on withdrawal from use and prohibition (suspension) of manufacturing, realization, and usage of medical products.
