MoH of Ukraine has prepared and submitted to public review draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On amending paragraph 1 of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 17, 2008 No. 955”.
The draft resolution is primarily designed to establish state regulation of prices for medicinal products and medical devices of domestic production, wholesale price for which does not exceed 12 UAH per package, which, according to the initiators of the draft will facilitate equal conditions of the state regulation of prices for domestic and foreign production.
Such an initiative should be implemented by exclusion of second indent of second subparagraph of first paragraph of the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 17, 2008 No. 955 "On measures on stabilization of prices of medicinal products and medical devices".
Furthermore, in the draft resolution it is provided for amending subparagraph 1 of paragraph 1 of the above mentioned resolution. Thus, it is also proposed to establish trade (retail) mark-up in the amount of 30% for medicinal products and medical devices, purchase price for which equals to 12 UAH inclusive; 25% exceeding 12 to 100 UAH inclusive.
If the proposed draft legal act is enacted, it will come into force after its official publication.
