On October 24th-25th Kharkiv hosted the 9th specialized business forum “Private Medicine in Ukraine – 2018” which became the main communication platform for participants of private medical service market. The event was aimed at common search of tools to improve the system of non-state healthcare in Ukraine and methods of promoting medical services.
Traditionally, the forum gathered leading experts of the industry, among which top managers and owners of private healthcare facilities, insurance, research, counselling, service companies and law firms.
Natalia Lavrenova, associated partner at Legal Alliance Company, acted as an expert within the section “Private Medicine and Reform of Ukrainian Healthcare System” and paid a lot of attention to peculiarities of legal issues of private medicine and patient, outlined problems related to dispute consideration with the involvement of patients, as well as organizational and legislative aspects of private medicine.
