On December 11, 2014 Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted Government’s Action Program on 2015-2016.

On December 10, 2014 was registered draft law ‘On making amendments to Tax Code of Ukraine and other legislatives acts of Ukraine (on reducing prices on medicinal products)’ #1376 with proposition to reduce VAT rate from 7% to 3 % and to set a single markup for all categories of medicinal products and medical devices.
Set 3% to distribution, logistical and retail markups on wholesale prices and 5% to purchasing prices.
