As part of the research project ‘Client Choice: 100 Best Lawyers of Ukraine – 2026’ run by the Ukrainian publication “Yurydychna Gazeta”, young and talented lawyers were selected for the Junior Stars: Under 30 Lawyers 2026 list. Oleksandr Tsurkan, a lawyer specialising in tax and intellectual property law at LA Law Firm, was recognised as one of the best young professionals.
The final list of Junior Stars: Under 30 Lawyers – 2026 was compiled based on cases in which the nominees are working. Practical cases reflecting the lawyer's tangible contribution to the work on projects, level of involvement, responsibility and professional independence were considered. The shortlist included 45 lawyers from 37 law firms of various specialisations.
The Junior Stars project focuses on lawyers under the age of 30 – a period which, as practice shows, is decisive for professional development. It is at this time that the choice of direction of development, consolidation of specialisation and formation of one's own standards of work, style of interaction with clients and the team, as well as attitude to responsibility and workload take place.
