KYIV - July 6, 2014. Lectors of event were Ms. Irina Nikitina, an independent business consultant, and Mr. Oleksii Bezhevets, attorney, partner with the Legal Alliance Company.
The experts shared with students information on the components of success of the law firm, on the trends, prevalent in the market of the legal business nowadays, and anticipated possible difficulties which the younger generation would might face if they decided to establish their own law firm.
The first day of the event was held at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Economics of legal business, the eternal question of division of funds between partners, client oriented approach, human resources, knowledge management and quality assurance of services in the legal business - these and other issues were outlined by the expert tandem. Brainstorm conducted at the first day ended by preparing students to practical tasks, written by Irina and Oleksii.
The second day of the intensive was not any less impressive. Students had the opportunity to gain experience in legal negotiations, simulating a real dialogue with clients of their own law firm. As the clients, of course, were Irina and Oleksii. Non-standard atmosphere of the Botanical Garden, where the business game was held, had added an incredible impression from modeling.
