On December 6, this year the President of Ukraine once again stressed his intention to sign the Law of Ukraine "On State Financial Guarantees for the Provision of Medical Services and Medicines" and the Law of Ukraine "On Increasing the Availability and Quality of Medical Care in Rural Areas" during meeting with doctors of the Lviv region. As you know, these laws are the beginning of medical reform, and their adoption is welcomed by both professional community and patients.
At present, the exact date of signing the laws is still unknown, but the President assured the Lviv medical community that the laws would be signed in one day and this would happen in the near future.
Also, the President said that in 2018 it was planned to allocate an additional 1 billion UAH on rural medicine. At the same time, 4 billion UAH allocatedin 2017 will also be transferred to its needs in 2018.
The event focused on the transformation of Ukraine's intellectual property sector on its path toward European integration.
