The President of Ukraine has Appointed New Public Officials of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine

On 29 June 2015 the President of Ukraine signed Decrees No. 372 / 2015-384 / 2015, which changed the current composition of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine by appointment of the new public officials of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (hereinafter - "public officials").

The procedure for appointment and dismissal of state officials is determined by the Art. 12 of the Law of Ukraine No. 3659-XII dated 26 November 1993, which stipulates that public officials shall be appointed on the recommendation of the Prime Minister of Ukraine and dismissed by the President of Ukraine.

Proposals for the appointment of public officials are submitted to the Prime Minister of Ukraine by initiative of the Chair of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. As it is known, on 19 May 2015 Yuri Terentiev was appointed as the Chair of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine by the High Council of Ukraine.

Having signed the Decrees mentioned above, President Poroshenko dismissed five public officials, namely, Mikhail Rusinsky, Valeria Dadiverina, Svetlana Moroz, Sergey Shershun and Nikolay Barash.

By virtue of the aforesaid Decrees, the President appointed 8 persons as public officials,namely Andrey Vovk, Agiya Zagrebelska, Maria Nizhnik, Maria Protsishen, Svetlana Panaiotidi, Nina Sidorenko, Valeriy Polukhovich and Anna Artemenko.
