On July 26th, 2017 the Ministry of Health of Ukraine approved and promulgated Order No. 856 “On Approval of the Register of Medicines subject to Reimbursement as of July 26th, 2017”.
The document is a register of drugs participating in the government program “Accessible Medications”, as well as drugs that patients with cardiovascular diseases, diabetes of type II and bronchial asthma can receive free of charge or with a small surcharge.
The new register, in comparison with the previous months, has 33 positions more for patients with cardiovascular diseases, 5 for patients with diabetes of type 2 and 4 for those suffering from bronchial asthma.
The previous register approved by Order of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine No. 360 on April 3rd, 2017 has lost its force.
Let us remind you that the governmental program “Accessible Medications” was launched in Ukraine in April 2017. During this time, patients suffering from the aforementioned diseases received medicines worth an amount that for now exceeds UAH 126 million of budget funds.
