Draft Law № 2494а “On the Introduction of Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine in relation to Adoption of the Law of Ukraine “On Corruption Prevention” has been submitted for consideration of Verkhovna Rada.
The proposed adjustments aim to regulate the guidelines duplication within the legislation which particularly applies to: conflict of interest settlement procedures; duty to declare the property, revenues, expenditures and financial commitments, and public protection guarantees for persons facilitating corruption control and prevention.
With the purpose of elimination of such duplications the Draft Law proposes to include the relevant provisions from other laws, having designated the Law of Ukraine “On Corruption Prevention” as the sole source for the unified approach and implementation procedures of anti-corruption mechanisms.
Moreover, the Draft Law suggests unifying the terminology in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Corruption Prevention”.
