Partner Vitalii Savchuk attended Forum on Pharma & Biotech Patent Litigation, the 16th international conference on patent dispute resolution in pharmaceutical industry, in Amsterdam on May 23 and 24.

Participants from across the globe shared their experience and ideas on data exclusivity; functioning of intellectual property courts; best strategies on the markets; challenges the Unified Patent Court is facing, etc.

"This is a niche event. This is where one can learn about patent law in the courts, whose example we would like to follow. That is, what's going to happen to us in a few years. I'm so pleased to be able to share my own notable experience, even in such a competitive environment – Legal Alliance Law Firm has accumulated patent litigations over the last few years, which are unique to Ukraine. At least to my knowledge, our team were the first in Ukraine who have proven patent infringement in the Supreme Court due to the equivalence of elements and features. This is something we let ourselves be proud of," Vitalii says.
