Criminal proceedings were initiated as an intentional murder, but due to the negligence and inaction of the law enforcement agency (despite changes in the pretrial investigation authorities), the criminal proceedings are closed with clear frequency, due to alleged lack of corpus delicti in the act. The last time, by the decision of Pechersk District Court of Kyiv dated November 3, 2023, the lawyer's appeal was granted and the decision to overturn the criminal proceedings on a certain basis was cancelled. Currently, the pretrial investigation is underway.
