In February of this year Legal Alliance’s team of the Anti-corruption ethics and Compliance practice has developed a new version of the Code of Conduct to prevent and combat corruption of representatives of the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers «AIPM Ukraine».
The document in its new edition, updated and improved in line with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine "On Prevention of Corruption", was recently approved by the Management Board of AIPM Ukraine.
The project was conducted by Oleksii Bezhevets, partner with Legal Alliance Company and senior associate Lidiya Sangarovskaya-Gurlach.
According to Mr. Bezhevets, head of the Anti-corruption ethics and Compliance practice: ”Over a number of years, our lawyers have developed and implemented a program of anti-corruption compliance, including a variety of policies, codes of practice, staff training programs, procedures of internal corruption investigation, monitoring the effectiveness of the work with contractors and intermediaries. We are pleased that our long-term partners - AIPM Ukraine, use our experience to prepare key documents regulating the activities of members of the Association, who are global pharmaceutical companies, accustomed to doing business using safe methods for the reputation”.
The event focused on the transformation of Ukraine's intellectual property sector on its path toward European integration.
