The State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) detectives have taken an attorney-at-law into custody and then conducted searches. During the search, a cell phone containing attorney-client privilege was seized.
Following the consideration of the motion on seizure by Pechersky District Court, the investigator was denied such motion.
According to the law's requirements, if the seizure is refused, the property must be returned to the owner immediately. Since the SBI detectives delayed such a return, Attorney-at-law Taras Bezpalyy filed a complaint in court.
The investigating judge of Pechersky District Court sustained the complaint in full and compelled the investigator to return the property.
