Representative office of an international pharmaceutical company defended from unreasonable charges of the State Fiscal Service

Recently Legal Alliance Company has defended representative office of a pharmaceutical company in Ukraine from unreasonable charges by the State Fiscal Service of failure to submit tax reports to the authority.

Tax agents thought that they had detected that the non-commercial representative office had engaged in commercial activities notwithstanding its status and therefore had to show income in its tax reports.

Timely engagement of Legal Alliance lawyers in the case and thorough preparation of objections to tax agents’ decision allowed cancelling results of this inspection during pre-trial appeal of the State Fiscal Service activities, avoiding undesirable court expenses and imposition of sanctions on the client.
