LA Law firm successfully represented a leading pharmaceutical company in a dispute with one of the largest Ukrainian distributors of pharmaceutical products, with claims totaling EUR 217,000. The case was heard by the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The client, a foreign company engaged in the production of pharmaceuticals, within the framework of a foreign economic contract supplied the Ukrainian distributor with several batches of goods for which the buyer failed to make payment.
After our arguments were presented, the distributor admitted the claims and proposed an amicable settlement. Our team conducted negotiations and secured a settlement agreement on terms favorable to the client.
We are pleased to have to have achieved a swift and cost-efficient victory for the client, while simultaneously expanding our experience in the field of cross-border debt recovery.
The project was handled by Partner Vitalii Savchuk, along with Senior Associate Yaroslav Furiaka and Associate Maksym Sulyma.
