In January 2019 Legal Alliance Company successfully finished a project on improvement of the client’s personnel management system. Essential changes introduced by Legal Alliance Company are to create a special mechanism of assessing competence of the company employees, which allows using sanctions in case of negative assessment results.
The client’s need in the special mechanism of personnel assessment was caused by drawbacks of the Ukrainian legislation. In particular, the procedure for attestation envisaged in the Law of Ukraine “On Professional Development of Employees” is very hard to apply in modern labor relations in the real economy sector.
Lawyers of Legal Alliance Company have developed a set of the necessary internal documents for the client company based on which the latter was able to manage professional level of the employees and minimize risks of labor disputes related to dismissal. Such a tool enables the client company to react to quality indicators of personnel matters of the company fast and remain competitive on the Ukrainian market.
Illya Kostin kostin@l-a.com.ua, partner at Legal Alliance Company, and Yaroslav Furiaka, junior associate, took part in legal support to the client’s personnel competence assessment procedure.
The event focused on the transformation of Ukraine's intellectual property sector on its path toward European integration.
